Every person that ventures into photography gets asked at some point how they came across it, and my story is a simple one; it was a complete accident. And here is a response I've given someone when asked this very question:

"How did you get into photography??
Great question.
I'd been interested in technology since the age of ten, and it just continued from there.
The photography, however, all started when my granddad brought his camera to my house (mid 2009), where I took it and snapped away. I somehow managed to take 200 photos in 20 minutes (small by my own standards now, but I was completely new to photography back then).
Every time I went to his house thereafter, I would take the camera, go out in the garden and snap away as it was something I enjoyed and found fun.
The chance came up in summer 2011 to borrow the camera for a week, so I took it! At the end of the week, I had taken something like 1500 photos, and decided that I was really into photography, and that I wanted a camera. My mum listened to this, and bought me a camera for Christmas in 2011."

To add to this, I have only been 'properly' taking photos for 10 months now, and this has been a process of self-discovery and constant development and refinement of the skills needed.
